It also used this method in three other schools, including a similarly colorful cafeteria makeover in P.S. 12. … “I think it’s groundbreaking in a lot of ways,” said Steven Tully, the associate director of the American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees who works for the school. “The trend (in school districts) is to outsource work… Unless you’ve worked in a school, you have no idea what’s there.”
