According to a memo released to the Free Press, requested changes include:
• Making detailed invoices, not just summary information, available online.
• Making it easier to compare contract expenditures with the amounts authorized.
• Clarifying that all contract records, including records related to subcontractors, are subject to the Michigan Freedom of Information Act and should be preserved at least three years after a contract is completed….
