This article explores legal developments about which employers must be aware in successfully screening their applicants while minimizing risk. It concludes with a discussion of best practices to help employers navigate the process of vetting prospective employees. When done properly, the screening process will afford an employer a talented, qualified team of employees who are a good fit for the organization.
