The nursing profession advocates for patient care, safety, and health care policy. Nurses today hold the power to assist the policymakers in transforming health care. One of every 44 voters is a nurse. This number alone shows the concern and accountability of nurses in the political arena. The following literature review sought information on the components of nursing political advocacy.
