Penn State researchers have completed research on Early Childhood Education teacher education programs in the U.S., which was funded by a grant from the Foundation for Child Development.

Penn State researchers have completed an investigation of 42 Early Childhood Education Teacher Education programs at major universities in 38 states. The research, which was funded by a grant from the Foundation for Child Development, identified several tensions between Early Childhood Education and elementary teacher education programs, as well as several recommendations to mitigate these tensions.
